- Other equipment on the pontoon: in accordance with legal regulations and the requirements of the Croatian Register of Shipping, and with the aim of easier and simpler operation, we will list several key elements necessary for reliable and safe work on and with the pontoon.

Bitts (single or double) for passing steel ropes or mooring lines for securing the pontoon, as well as an appropriate anchor in accordance with the regulations of the Croatian Register of Shipping (HRB)

It is also mandatory to have several pulleys of adequate load capacity and suitable diameter for changing the direction of the mooring steel ropes, increasing the holding or lifting force, and similar purposes.
AUXILIARY VESSEL FOR PONTOON HANDLING
For handling the pontoon, that is, for its positioning and towing, an appropriate tug vessel must be used.
Such vessels are widely used in Western maritime countries as maneuvering vessels in ports, larger marinas, and, of course, on maritime construction sites.
The vessel features a cargo deck resembling that of a small ferry and is equipped with a smaller hydraulic crane with a capacity of approximately 6 t at 4 m, or 2.5 t at 10 m.
